Just a quick trip to MINWR today.  The first stop was a Bald Eagle perched right next to the road just before the entrance to Blackpoint Wildlife Drive.  He was cooperative and posed without spooking.  Then on to Blackpoint, it was pretty quiet.  In another month the duck migration will begin to pick up.  I shot a few of the usual resident birds and moved on to Biolab Road.  Even quieter than Blackpoint.  Last stop was Oak Hammock for warblers and Barred Owl.  There a few warblers, but no good shots.  The Barred Owl was easy to find once he started vocalizing.  He was pretty fired up due to a tour group going through.  Tomorrow, maybe Bok Towers.
